concentrated on photography for the model railroad

his career as photographer for O Gauge Railroading
magazine, Fred M. Dole earned the respect of fellow
professionals as well as model railroad hobbyists for the
high quality of his layout photographs. Fred believes
that his scenic photography background enables him to see
models railroads as if they were real life scenes instead
of models on a table top. Wherever possible, his photos
do not fall off the edge of the world and he seeks to put
himself into a scene instead of being a casual viewer
